The Multi-Messenger Astrophysics Workshop (MMAW), organized with support from AHEAD2020 -a H2020 European project-, the European Gravitational Observatory (EGO), the Astroparticle Physics European Consortium (APPEC), the European astronomy consortium ASTRONET and the Astroparticle and Cosmology laboratory APC will be held on 10-12 October 2022, at the European Gravitational Observatory in Cascina : https://indico.ego-gw.it/event/199/
This workshop is a continuation of the Multi-Messenger Astrophysics Low Latency workshop in Paris (https://indico.in2p3.fr/event/25290/).
It will review the opportunities for multi-messenger astrophysics in key observatories of Astrophysics and Astroparticle Physics of the current and next decade, with emphasis on services, informatics issues and data access, common R&D, as well as societal impact, sustainability and citizens engagement.
During the second day, a discussion for a common proposal for Multi-Messenger Astrophysics answering to the European Union call « Research infrastructure services advancing frontier knowledge » will be held. The topic under this call aims at providing trans-national and virtual access to integrated and customised RI services.
The workshop is open to all interested, with emphasis to the responsible of Astrophysics and Astroparticle Infrastructures that could contribute to the different workpackages of the proposal.
